It Finally Happened!!!

Well, a long time ago I posted a story about my band members abusing my gear and lying to me and that sort of thing (http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=380097). So yesterday I was hanging out at my bassist's house and we were talking about the band so we decided to call up the guitarist and singer to tell them we quit. Today we formed a new band already, it's going to be great, I can tell already. It feels so good to get out of that h*** of a band.

Good work man. One of the smartest things things I've heard. I was pretty much in the same position as you but just as I was going to quit, my guitarist just called it quits for some reason. As so did the rest of the band. made my job easier.

Most singers think that they're the best and the leader of the band just because they get to stand in the front.

I HATE people playing my kit with out asking, I really dont mind if someone says "Hey Curtis mind if I have a lil play/mess around" lol thats fine by me lol

But all the effort and money poured into a drum kit, its gotta be respected especially if its not yours

But I know people can never resist banging a drum kit if its just left around, so I never leave my drum kit round anyones house

My old singer sat there and told me i couldnt play drums, then "showed" me how to do it and he couldnt work the bass pedal. :)
