This thread may not belong here...but I really want to know if there is some cheesey pop song right now that you for some reason, uhm, dig.
My pick is a song called "Heartbeat" by a Norwegian pop singer called Annie. There is something about a cute girly voice singing about a heartbeat trembling the symphony in badly pronounced scandinavian accented english that really turns me on.

haha B-)
I love lots of pop music. Mostly older stuff - Madonna, Duran Duran, Wham!, ABBA, Wings etc. Hard to name particular favourites but I'll try.
Duran Duran - A View to a Kill
Madonna - Like a Virgin
Wham! - Careless Whisper
George Michael - Father Figure
Wings - Silly Love Songs (appropriate enough for this thread)
Spice Girls - Say You Will Be There
Elvis Presley - Suspicious Minds
It's hard to think of them on the spot. The only pop song I particularly hate is "Bad Day", most of the others are either tolerable or just plain fun to listen to.

Old Michael Jackson songs, like Billie Jean.
And, of course, Wham.

I very much like the new Madonna single, and that first sugababes single - can't remember the title, but it goes like "train comes, i don't know its destination" and so on. I think most here will know it.
My brother got me into some Will Smith songs - "Summertime" in particular.

Summertime is a great song. And Madonna's back in fine pop form. Speaking of "Hung Up", ABBA's "Gimmie! Gimmie! Gimmie!" is a wonderful silly pop song.
Dan: nice, another House fan.

I have a liking for Westlife :)
- 'When you're looking like that'
- 'Seasons in the sun'
- 'Swear It all over again'
- 'Until the end of time'
Most of their songs are incredibly well written pop songs.
I used to and still probably like most of Take That, I guess Blink 182 can be considered pop now, Stevie Wonder, 'Golddigger' 'Hollaback girl' and a lot of what has been mentioned.
Ahh, I love having an incredibly wide music taste.

I'm ashamed to say I I'm a big fan of McFly and Busted. Don't laugh! Actually you can! Although they are good at what they do/did. (Bustd we miss you sniff!)
The Best songs to check out are:
McFly
"Unsaid Things"
"I Wanna Hold You"
"She Falls Asleep Part 2" (epic song)
Busted
"Dawsons Geek"
"Sleeping With The Light On"
"She Wants To Be Me"
