I haven't really thought of one for myself,
But I do want to have a new kit by the end of the year.
Has anyone got any drumming resolutions/targets that want to have accomplished by the end of the year ?

Here we go:
Replace crappy Verve throne with Roc N Soc Nitro throne
Replace XS20 crashes with AA Mediums
Possibly add on an AAX China
Hopefully by the end of the year upgrade to a pro kit.
Work on getting my bass drum foot faster
Work on 4way coordination
Get my left hand fingers up to speed
Improve my dynamics and time keeping skills
Most of this stuff shouldn't be too hard.

To learn more and jazz/latin, and to be able to swing with ease at most tempos. Also, to be able to be able to play the 40 fluently, and to get up to 230+ with the kick drum, learning a few rudiments on the way. Also, to be able to play a decent blast beat.

And get my double pedal up to speed. Work on my fills, definetely.

Actually, I've realised I need to open up to different genre's. To put into my playing.
And it'd be awesome to be able to nail the Steve Gadd lick. Haven't tried it yet though, looks hard.

Haha, it would be amazing if I did....
I think I can get the gear and the job...
The #2 Jazz Band thing will probably be the toughest, I would've made it easily except there's some little home-schooled jazz-drumming phenom this year...
Took my friends spot, my friends also amazing, in the #2 jazz band...
He doesn't really deserve it though... He's a good combo drummer, but he's not too great at big-band playing...
The gigging's looking in fairly good shape for at least one of the bands, we've got a couple really sweet sounding songs going...
Then getting laid is probably the 2nd hardest... Damn I need a GF...

...yeah and #6. is to learn to go back in time
I know this is late, but I'm going to get my single strokes DOWN as well as my accents. I kinda got used to playing double strokes early on and didn't care to learn single strokes... so I'm payin' for it now)
And I am going to get my double bass speed and technique to where it used to be.

Get way better over-all.
Start getting serious about school and my band(starting today).
Buy the bass drum I ordered.
By a decent pedal for the said drum.
Buy a Powerstroke 4 for the same drum.
Some changes:
Masterwork ride + hihat
New kit (Premier Artist or Peace Paragon)
New snare (Loud and small, anyone?)
Replace hardware with Big Dog
And maybe buy a lot of wuhan cymbals, just to try out at gigs (how the crowd hears the sound, etc).
