This is my drumset. I got it in Christmas of '04. I've been replacing and accessorizing. Yes I know the tom heads need replacing. The specs of the set are as follows: (Pictures are at the bottom)
Orbitone E-Series (#OXE520J)
20 x 16 Bass Drum
14 x 14 Floor Tom
12 x 9 Rack Tom
10 x 8.5 Rack Tom
13 x 5 Wood Snare
14 x 14 Wood Snare (Extra, didn't come w. set)
Hardware:
Chain Drive Orbitone Bass Pedal
Chain Drive Orbitone Hi-Hat Stand
3 Section Orbitone Cymbal Stand
Orbitone Snare Stand
Orbitone Drum Throne
Ludwig Boom Cymbal Stand
Tama Straight Cymbal Stand
Pearl Primero 6" Cowbell
Pearl Hoopmount Cowbell Holder
Snare Stand (dont know the brand, for the extra snare)
Cymbals:
14" Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hats (Used)
16" Generation X Johnny Rabb Crash (New) w/ 6" or so splash type thing to make crash sound trashy but the splash is used separately as another cymbal
20" Zlidjian ZBT Ride (New)

Orbitone drums are produced by Taye Drums...if that makes it a little easier.

Orbitone drums are produced by Taye Drums...if that makes it a little easier.

Nice drumset, new heads and some replacements for those ZBT's would make it much better though.

you guys do know that anal bum cover and an album cover are from a Saturday Night Live Celebrity Jeopardy skit, right? the actor playing Sean Connery was saying everything wrong. An Album Cover became Anal Bum Cover. The Pen Is Mightier became The Penis Mightier and so on. Anyway, yea, new heads, replace the ZBTs.

Heres my two cents.
Move the second snare over to the left by the hi-hats like so:

On the far right of the pic.
Move the toms together and flatten them out. Then you've got an awesome kit. Hurray.
Hows that Gen x crash?

I've never seen anybody put the second snare next to the floor tom. To be honest, I kind of like it. What' wrong with that?

Nothing. Its just easier to use over the other side. Im ignoring compliments towards my kit cause its not my thread :p

not really liking it lol, I say you should of passed on the New ZBTs lol, but its only a beginner set, and work on your tom angles a bit more to, and move them closer together
