new snare

Hey guys im looking to buy a new snare because the one that came with my kit has all types of problems... Im looking for something around the $250 range and i have heard good things about both the chad smith and the jj snare. I play a mix of hard and classic rock and im wondering which would be a better choice. thanks a lot

save up a bit more and get a yamaha sig snare with wood hoops...yummy...i just came a little...

if you want the joey snare just get the senistone,its the same thing without the ugly graphics but its wway cheaper. the chad smith is a good one. SO are black panthers steel snare. Pork pie has some good stuff.

Pearl Chad Smith or Pearl Sensitone/Sensitone Classic. These are the 2 best snares around the $250 price range in my opinion.
