Alright everybody, byoP appreciation thread. I've tried searching it on here and there aren't any results returned, so... Anybody else here who listens to them?

What's your favourite song(s) by them so far? Mine has to be Electric Shake and Damn, Damn, Leash.

I have yet to get my hands on their album, but buying it online's my only way to do so far and I still dunno about that. Wish I can watch their shows too but I'm in Asia :( Well, next time I'm in the US I guess. (They're going to be in England this coming Jan-Feb though, I think.)

I can't judge though, I havn't heard them yet. I have heard OF them too much though.

They've got a nice energy, especially live, i'll pick up the album when it comes out methinks, shame they're not putting Damn Damn Leash on it mind.

Fire Department is a great song too.

Hey, hey, they're local. In fact, I know people who knew them. In fact, I almost went to the same high school as them. Anyways, I guess they're alright, they seem like they'd put on a good live show, they just sound a little bland. But if you like them, you'll love Thieves in the Night (http://www.myspace.com/thievesinthenight), just because we're from the same area and also in high school (yeah, shameless plug).

The Libertines were a great band. Now sadly dissolved. Babyshambles suck though. Pete D is overrated.

Not meaning to divert the thread...I havent heard any BYOP, but I've heard theyre good. I think theyre getting hyped a lot due to their age. hmm.

I listened to damn damn leash on mtv2, its an ok song, but nothing too special i think. And to the other guy, i think pete d is a c*ck, although i did like the libertines when they were around.

byop are playing to a market, their market loves them, i think they are fairly mediocore, i feel the songs are thrown together and have no real quality to them, i think they are lyrically poor also.
