Nice kit :thumb: if you re-rapped that 2nd floor tom it would look really nice :naughty:

Your slave pedal on the iron cobra seems very very angled. Do you just kind of use it at whatever angle your foot is at and keep it above the hi-hat?

em..how tall are u? at least the angles arent so bad if u were short

Yea I like dubble pedal in that angle...I go faster with it on that angle...I tryed it at every possition and for some reason it works for me like that

Im 5'11...It may seem weird but hey it makes me confortable when using the dubble pedal

Hmm... it must just be the picture angle then. It looks like it's buried under the snare and all.

I always figure tom angles are a very personal thing....and to each their own.. but those look nuts. don't you have trouble controlling the stick when you're doing doubles on them? I'd imagine -- unless you drop your hands very low to make up for the angle -- you have to spent extra bits of energy just to keep the sticks from rebounding down and toward you, as opposed to comfortably above the drum head? I dunno.... just doesn't look like it would feel very ergonomic. but otherwise.......perty kit!

That kit is almost the exact negetive of my old kit. I had an entire black kit with one white rockstar floor tom

Ah, looks sweet man, I like the 3 rack toms. Just try angling them a little less and raise your snare quite a bit.

I know what you mean....if it works for you, then it works for you! the general consensus seems to say that shallow angles are better/more ergonomic...and it seems to make sense to me. but I wouldn't even bother with it if it takes too much energy to adapt to the change.

Can someone ban this kid, seriously I thought that phrase was forbidden.

Im not a fan of your large toms, or the angles they are on, but other than that, its a pretty nice set

I've always thought that standard sized sets (12, 13, 16 toms) with 8" add-on toms have looked extremely ugly...this is no exception, i definitely prefer fusion sizes, for looks AND sound...but you've got a nice cymbal setup going...nice china position...very chad smith-esque.

I'm liking your set man, nice and clean. Nice cymbal setup also. Just flatten your rack tom angles a bit, and your good to go. :)

Yea i fixed that up a lil bit and it looks better and feels better...Its cool that y'all noticed that so quick..I have been playing for 10 years and 4 of those years with the rockstar like that..

And yes that is the Kramer pic in the back round on my wall...Its what makes the drumset :p

Hey man, I have that same model rockstars (I think its maybe RK, from 1990?) except in black... Whats tuning like for you on those bad boys? I can get the floor tom and bass pretty easily but the rack toms just seem to give me trouble, especially the 13". Those drums are some of the best sounding I have ever heard if you tune the toms nice and low....

Yea Im pretty shure its a 1990...Its pretty hard to tune it but i got that drum dial(drum tunder)and its at 75% tension ...It sounds amaizing...If u ever hered Larses white tama (on Live Sh*t and most of the Black album), mine is tuned almost exact to that...I love it never gettin rid of it
