new kit from xmas(i know its a little late) but hey, PICS!!!!!

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c78/Kevin515/drums6.jpg

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c78/Kevin515/drums3pedal.jpg i love the flying dragons

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c78/Kevin515/drums2.jpg driver's seat

SPECS(before u all ask):
diameter by depth
REMO MASTER TOUCH(not sure of year but its gotta be semi old)
14x13 floor tom
12x9 rack tom
8x10 rack tom
9.5 roto tom
7.5 roto tom
13x5 snare
20x18 bass
2oo2 paiste hats(not sure of year my stepdad gave them to me, ill guess mid to early 90's)
nameless zildjian crash and ride both 18"

i know it has weird sizes and what not, its a REMO kit, stepdad found it on ebay and he gave me some old cymbals to use, im going to guitar center tommorrow and getting a crash, most likely K custom or A custom. I've read too many 'Z customs suck' and 'holy tom angles batman' threads so i know how everything needs to be, and yes i tried out Z customs when i went to GC, they were horrible. Playing on my stepdad's Pearl MMX Master's Custom for my first 7 or 8 months didn't hurt either.

yah, my stepdad is still halfway in the 80's in terms of gear. His Pearl kit is early 90's i think its a '91. sounds great though.

That's a good find. All the Remo kits I've played/heard have sounded pretty good. Those Flying Dragons look pretty sweet.

I think they stopped making sets.

Nope they still make kits. 3 series. Goto their website and see. And, to thenewguy, is your kit made out of wood or acousticon?

Nice kit. When I lived in So.Cal, one of the clubs I used to go to, (Coconut Teazer I think) had Remos as their house kit, they sounded FAT.

Great pick up.

Yea, I think Jeff Hamilton uses Remo drums, I could be wrong, though.

its the thread on this nut, it wont go any farther up:

and more importantly, picked up at 16" vault crash and a cheapo PDP stand for it.

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c78/Kevin515/vaultlogo.jpg

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c78/Kevin515/vaultfull.jpg

and this is the kit from afar with both crashes, looks more complete, but its not even close to being finished.

indeed it is, but my parents and stepdad said i have to pay for all the new crap i want to add to it, so i would have to buy that new stand, and im almost out of money from the vault/second boom stand(i talked the guy down to $200 even) and the dragons($300). i have like $80 left, ill look up some hi hat stands and get back to u about that.

Dude screw what people think about muffling or tom angles or wtv...

A few guys here don't seem to respect personnal choice and opinion...

So just play the way you feel comfortable....

Heck you could have retarded tom angles like this dumbass and I probably wouldn't mind anymore....

Ah man, that looks sweet, I really like the roto tom/ tom setup. Just move your hats in, they look pretty far out.
