I want a delay pedal for my bass, and I would like your opinions on which one I should get.
The Digidelay looks really nice, is it worth the $100 though?
What other models of delay are worth looking into?
I am going to Guitar Center tomorrow, so I will at least play around with the DigiDelay.

The Analog freaks seem to like the Memory Man.

I am sure it is amazing, being E-H, but I would have trouble justifying the price of the Digi, no way can I drop $200 on one.

A friend of mine uses the Boss rather consistently, it has a very nice 'feel' to it.

Boss DD3. I wanted the Digitech one because it was cheaper, but I'm glad I got the Boss. Awesome sound. Just an all around lovely pedal.

Hmm, so today I will try to play the Digi, the Boss, and the Tonecore. The Ibanez if they have one.
Thanks for the help.

The Echo Park is awesome. I'm using my Bass POD, but all the delays and 'verbs come from the Line 6 Tonecore series. For the sweep echo alone, it's worth it.

The Digidelay is good, but so is the Marshall Echohead, very good in fact.
I have both of those but I'll also invest in a Line 6 Echo Park and their Delay Modeller, as well as a Boss DD6, the guitarist in an old band of mine had one, great pedal.

I got a Boss DD-3, and it is awesome. Oh yes.

the reason i suggested the line 6 echo park is because it's got fifty million different types of delay and is really worth it, all in one pedal, all usable

The Ibanez Delay/Echo DE7 may be priced right around $70 but the one I purchased two weeks ago broke three hours after regular use. Static, hum and the effect audibly wavering in depth so either I got a bad one or Ibanez isnt all they're cracked up to be.

I'd say the boss DD6, I've always found Boss pedals are just so much better. Plus, I saw a band the other night and bassist was using the DD6 and it was amazing.

It took my a while to find someone talking about using the Tonecore Echo Park with a bass but I finally came across this forum. :thumb:
I'm learning to play the bass and I'm about to buy the Ibanez SR506 (6 string model). I want to get some good delay effects cause thats what I play around with the most. Since I'm still new to playing the bass I was not sure how well certain guitar pedals sound/work with a bass so I was happy to see that people were recommending the Echo Park. I would just like to hear some peoples opinions who are actually using the Echo Park with their bass. I know others have said above that they recommend it, but I wasn't sure if they had actually had the opportunity to play with it or if they just listened to the effects online like I did and known it to be a bad *** pedal. For those who did share your opinions above, thank you. And how about you Akira, did you ever decide which you liked the best when you tried them out at Guitar Center?

Boss FTW. Either the DD-3 or DD-6 if it's in your price range.
