I had 300$ to spend on drum stuff after Christmas and I successfully blew it all in one trip to GC. I got a 16" AAX Studio Crash, new 14" b8 hats, a 20" b8 ride, and a 12" wuhan china. I know a lot of you will flame me for buying b8's but try to keep it to a minimum please.

B8's?!?!?!
seriously, i have money, but if i wanted a ANY CYMBAL i would not spend it. i would wait until i could afford a good model.
unless you like the sound. i'll assume not because you didn't say so though. just "i had money SO HERE'S WHAT I BOUGHT!"
EDIT: are you smiling yet?

I knew this would happen. I like the cymbals so quit assuming ****. "but if i wanted a crash i would not spend it." I didnt buy a b8 crash, I bought a 16" AAX Studio Crash.

How stupid are you? Can't you see that me saying "a crash" was just an example? Should I change it to "a ride" so you don't get upset?:) And I mean, I even explained my assumption, you could have just said "I like the B8's, it's good." You used the word "blew" even. Which has a connotative meaning close to "wasted."
Just trying to make sure you like them.

You know theres nothing wrong with a B8, infact their chinas are some of the best i've ever heard! Their idea alloys for a great china sound.

cool buys man. Not a fan of b8 except their b8pro china but if you like them then thats all that matter. As long as you didnt buy solars then youre in the clear/

B8's might not be top-of-the-line but they arnt really bad either, I dont know why so many people are completely againts them.
just a random thought

i agree they arent that bad. for the money they are ok. they are cheap here. like $40 for a crash. not too bad.

I got $475 dollars for christmas, but everytime I go into Guitar Center, I come out empty handed. I'm so afraid of spending money on something and then going home and not really needing it.
I have Paiste 502s all around, I want to get some K customs, but when I listen to my cymbals... they really don't sound all that bad. I kind of like them, but I just don't know. I cling to my money like a jewish person.

my jewish friends love spending money. hah. If you like your cymbals then why get something new? if you liek them then keep them, no point in getting something else when you have the sound you like.
