Well I just got a new crash and heads today so I decided to post my kit for the first time. I got it in august...

None of the other images can upload because of size but Ill keep trying and leave you with this.

EDIT- Those are the only two I could upload. I had better ones but they are too big. I had a nice pic of my porkpie, crash and led zeppelin drum book too.

looks like Autumn High Gloss...

All looks good but your tom angles... You should move your floor tom in and ajust your pedals.

Funny you said that, I moved my floor tom and ride in today. I rearranged everything last week and I cant find the sweet spot that I used to have buts it getting there.

Thanks for all the comments...

SPECS

Sonor 3005 in Autumn High Gloss- 10,12,14,22 kick and 14 snare.

Cymbals- 18 inch Hand Hammered Dark Crash
16 Cracked Zbt Crash
14 B8 Pro Hats
Zildjian Ride with no logos on it..I dont know what it is but it does have a nice sound to it. When I got it with my old kit, I thought it was a crappy no name ride but one day I saw the zildjian badge. It has no logos on the bottom either. It says its made in canada if that can help anyone identify it. I had a pic of it to show you guys but it was too big like the others.

They're both beautiful finishes man. You can't go wrong with either one. However, if you get the AHG you'll get flamed for having the same finish as everyone else and if you get the RM you'll get flamed for having a red kit. I went with the RM after seeing some pics of a 3003 with it. I fell in love. Every now and then I wish I would have gone with the AHG just because. But, I know if I would have gotten the AHG there would have been moments I would have wished I'd gone with the RM. They're both good though dude.

By the way, both the sparkle finishes are sexy too.

I don't care... everyone has it for a reason...

It's only so popular on here though... I haven't seen it anywhere else...

I think the RM and AHG are the two best finishes for the kit. I loved them both so much and I took the one that was available before the other.

Inrtereting, that must be an old-school ride cymbal if it's stamped Made in Canada.

Oh yeah I know, it's definetly a great finish. I'm just saying get ready for annoying replies if you do get it. It seems every time I put up pictures of mine I get the "it's inferior because it's red" comments. Make sure to post some pics when you get your kit though! I can't wait to see it. Know what sizes you're getting yet?

I'm going to go with the Stage 1 set:

Bass - 22" x 17.5"
Snare - 14" x 5,5"
Tom - 12" x 10"
Tom - 13" x 11"
Floor Tom - 16" x 16"

I might buy a 14" x 12" tom later on the replace the 13"...

True a lot of beginner kits come in red but a wine red and not with the maple detail... I think of a beginner kit when I see piano black but that's just me... I find red suits my music genre (more rock/metal than anything else) a lot more then AHG though...

Do you have any pictures of the Red maple, I'm considering getting it but my local store doesnt have it so I can't see what it looks like. I hope you do! :chug:

Yeah, but they're all pretty bad.

It looks soooooooo much better in person. I just have a crappy digital camera so I can't do it justice in the photo's.

might be pre-sabian badge zilco?

It was deffinitaly made in whats now the sabian factory, thats for sure. So its gotta be at least 1980s?

The sabian factory opened in 1981 so thats gotta be a vintage ride.
