OK< made my correction......LUDWIG WEATHER MASTER "HEAVY" SILVER DOT.........!

Anyone play 'em :naughty:

Was at my local shop and saw a set of Ludwigs with them...... They were clear Weather Master "Heavy" Silver Dots....... A heavier single ply. I play Emps now on my Birch Ludwigs.....and wanted a change so I ordered them...They kinda had that Monster Sound! Kinda low but maybe more attack than the Emps......and the Silver Dots were cool.....:thumb:

I saw some on a John Bonham kit in a music store here. The clear ones with the silver centered dot...

That sounds like you stumbled on some very old heads.

Remo hasn't made a "Weather King" head in prob near two decades. All heads now are weather king.

The Controled Sound, CS dot heads come in the varying weights (dip, amb, emp) but silver dots haven't been availible for a long long time.

Might have been special order, or again, very very old heads. I'm thinking special order for the kits or perhaps special for ludwig.

Like DW heads - Remo Amb's with the ring of coating.

I've never heard of them, but josiah gave me a good idea of the origin. Pics would be nice.

Ahh.. I figured it out.

Not "weather king", "Weather Master".

Those are ludwig heads.
