thanks, I love 4 pieces now. I dont think i'll ever change back to playing any kit with multiple rack toms(above the kick) I may or maynot get a bigger floor tom...im thinking no right now...Im looking to spend some money on a snare and ride that I want

That's pretty rad your dad plays. Nothing like the father son jam sessions.

seriously Josiah..we had one the other day... he was showing me some of the funk grooves/fills he does when he practices..then we would just take turns playings something complicated while the other kept a simple beat on the woodblock or w/e

both kits are awesome man, i always wondered what itd be like to jam with ur dad. (my bassist just had a daughter, and hes confident she will grow up in a 'band' setting..maybe ill ask her someday :lol:)

It might just be the picture angle and such, but his dad's seems bigger.

yeah we do have the same ride. were both pleased with the sound it makes so we use it...Ill soon try to upgrade to a traditional Avedis sweet ride, because I have started to enjoy crashing the ride, but the b8's dont sound good crashed
