fender rumble 100 amp settings help

i just got one and im having a real hard time getting a bass tone like greenday or from the clash song "london calling" basically i want a low end- punk tone. Suggestions would be great.

well if you want dirnt's tone basically just turn everything up and leave bass around 3/4 of the way up.

There's really no better explanation. It's not like the bass is full of knobs and every one of them gives it a completely different tone (We're talking about the Fender Rumble ....). My only suggestion is to boost the treble, as that is what gives the bass that punchy sound. Oh, and to use a pick.

But really, just toy around with it.

dont boost ur treble to high it makes it too punchy. just turn down ur bass to like the 1/3 (3.5 or 4) and put ur treble to 2/3 (6.5 or 7). this is wut i do and sounds good. and of course...use a pick
