Help me with my USB port.

So i had my laptop repaired and emptied and did most of the installing of software etc. only to find out that the cd with the drivers for the USB 2.0 is missing. the USB still works but still not properly.

this appears when i press the "add hardware" button.
the "usb controller" is not installed.

is there any way to download the drivers from the net?

Do you have the original disks that came with the computer? If not, what brand/model of computer is it?

Just search the website of your Laptop/USB company if you know it.

Try the ones on this site. There is one for XP (which you shouldn't even need considering XP automatically detects it), and one for 98, Me, 2000.
