Black Magick, from my Band Nefarious

My band made an instrumental recording of our song Black Magick. I'm not sure really where to categorize it. It's like a Power/Death/Thrash metal song. We don't have a vocalist at the moment, but are working on getting one.

Dont really listen to this type of music but thats a great job! The only criticism(sp?) is that in the intro you should even out the volume a bit. The repeat of the opening riff is a bit drowned out by the big booming intro the rest of the band is making.
To be honest, i really liked that wee guitar lick/riff, and i think that if you work hard, you could go without a singer. Theres enough talent there, i just hope you dont spoil it with an awful vocalist, that would really put me off!

I should probably have said that we did the recording with one mic placed in the middle of the room.

I really like. As Belfast said, I'm sure you could make it work without a singer.

Oh, and record it without just one mic. It would do the song justice. ;)

that sounded great for one mic, but still, use more. your drummer is real good.

Wow...that's gold. I love it, and I like this type of music, so I'm generally pretty critical against the bad bands. That's definitely above average though.
