Ok, I've heard great things about this program and with it being christmas I've decided to splash out some cash on the DVD. I looked at a few reviews of it but they were too vague to really mention what kind of comedy it acctually is. I like Alan Partrdige, Brasseye, etc. stuff of that nature. So basically just tell me if it's worth buying, compare it to something I might have seen, discuss Spaced :)

Did you like Shaun of the dead? Imagine 2 series of that, but alot funnier :thumb:

Spaced is my favourite sitcom, funny as hell.

Spaced may be the funniest thing made in the past 10 years.

I don't think you have to worry about not enjoying it. I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't love it.

i saw this thread and just had to post anything in it

yes buy it right now, i have been watching spaced for years now and everytime i watch it i see a joke i didnt see before, some of it you will find a bit strange but it is one of the cleverest shows ever to be made i like it so much i have been calling myself by the main characters name online for 3 years now. and i still die a little inside when people think that this is my actual name, in my mind if there is someone who hasnt seen spaced enough to know the lead characters name then there simply can not be a god

Yeah Spaced is great, you definitely won't be dissapointed. You may have to watch it more than once to get all the references they put in, which can only be a good thing. :)

cos you know that i can

I just bought the Dvd of both series, and am loving it. Brian, the tortured artist, is just great. "Well, I do fear, pain, aggression..."

Funnily enough, I watched Shaun of the Dead about half an hour ago. I didn't really get into Spaced but the episodes that I did see; good stuff. I might consider getting one of the box sets.
