I have an Eden wt300 running through an Avatar 2x10 delta, and as you know that cab has a tweeter. I usually turn it off, but lately Ive wanted some extra treble cut when slapping, so I turned it up. But when playing nothing, you can hear the tweeter really clearly, as if air is bursting out of it. I cover it with my hand, and this supresses the noise, so Im thinking that this thing is either really bad or doing what it's supposed to (push air out?). Just need someone to tell me if tweeters are supposed to be loud an annoying like this, or if mine is messed up. I can't see how I could put the tweeter on max volume, it would be useless if recording with a mic. Thanks for the help

That sounds like the typical problem with avatar tweeters. Dave at avatar sells a new crossover that will eliminate most of that problem, but the fact of the matter is that most tweeters/horns are noisey. The avatar tweeter/crossover issue has been discussed at great length over at TB.
