Hi all, this is my kit. Quite a simplistic setup. I play jazz/funk/latin/swing/nu-jazz and some alternative-ish stuff. Enjoy!

Wow, that's definetly unique. I dig it. How does that bass drum sound? I don't think I've ever heard one that shallow before

Yeah how do the toms sound? I'm planning on buying an artist birch, but it'll be hard to hear them first...

I love the lighter hoops. You'd be surprised as to how loud that bass sounds, i used to have a 22x16 and my 20x8 is sex compared to that, it really cuts through, even in big bands. Yeah, gotta love Premier, i fell in love with it as soon as i saw it, and heard it, birch is such a focused, high end wood. Nah no crash as of yet, the ride sounds great when crashed, it proves that cymbals do really improve with age. Im currently trying to save up and buy a 15" K custom dark crash, that would probably be my main crash. And then when i have the money, i'll probably buy a 20" k custom dry light ride.

The toms are wiked, i have emps on them now and they're really punchy. Loud too. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Thanks man! i was gonna go for an export, but i saw this and it just has so much more character than a plain old export. I dont think theres another one of these that i know of in my state (western australia):)

Yeah, i'd never seen a bass like that ever. When i can borrow some rcording gear (e.g paltom studio, which ive borrowed before, but i cant until february) i'll post some sound clips of me playing on putfile or sound click. Also, i'll put some audio of me and my band playing on our upcoming demo.

just that the bass is really shallow and your ride is in an odd position

The bass stands out as different. Does it sound much different than other, deeper, bass drums?

yeah, but it still sounds good. And, really you cant say that my ride is in an odd position because everyone has different preferences. That is very broad statement.

It sounds tighter, like punchy. Probably not as much volume as a deeper bass. It still cuts through though. Easy to fit in cars too, but finding bags is a bitch! im trying to get some custom made

Yeah, i can post audio in februrary or early january, depending on whether you want just the drums or me and my band. It might be possible for me to record some drums by themselves when me and my band record our demo. If not drums on their own will have to be recorded separately in feb. Yeah, im lovin it ai.

Haha, woot! people like my bass! Cheers man, so called "hardcore" people that i have spoken to in my town hate it. they havent heard it though.

EDIT: I love the looks on fellow drummer's faces when they ask me the dimensions of my bass, and i reply; 20x8. Kodak moments all round.
