I was walking yesterday and came across by a small ampeg the store was closed so i couldn't go in and im only in the sity for a couple more days.http://rainbowmusicomaha.com/ampeg.JPGhow much should it cost i want a full range.

cost, i dont know... but that blue diamond vinyl is from... late 70's early 80's if i remember right..
check the ampeg site, they tell you stuff about that diamond vinyl.... im not 100% my info is accurate...

Honestly, I doubt you're going to have much luck on MX, not a lot of people on here were even alive when that thing was produced. There's a lot of people with a few more years on 'em over at talkbass (try PM'ing Jerrold Tiers, he works for Ampeg and is a wealth of knowledge about the company and its products), or directly on the forum at ampeg.com

i went back to the store found it was a rocket from the 60's the condition was too great the head(its a combo) looked fine and one of the tubes was replaced the speaker looked like it need to be replaced. It wasn't worth $375

That being said, you got awfully horny over a piece of gear that you'd never even heard. Ampeg is just a name. There are better out there.

Ampeg is a good name, but I don't know... they're so overpriced, and the quality control is nothing like the early days.
Ashdown will get a very similar sound for less money.
