Hey guys, i've been playing fot about a year now and ive just started a band and i needed a better amp. I've bought a Behrigner Vampire LX210 which is digital, but i've only recently heard that Analog is alot better. should i trade it in for an analog with less wattage?

Do
Whatever appeals to u
Do U Like the tone Of Which Amp Best?
Which Do U like the most?
Which do u kno how to use to its fullest?
Don't do things just because other people disagree its ur music, ur tone, ur choice

yep
its like everyone disagrees with my Line 6 Spider II which is a digital amp
yet i can still get the exact For The Love Of God Tone on it etc and get many other identical tones etc but i dont like the clean channel?
then i get a marshall MG30DFX for clean channel and everyone says that MG suck while i think the clean tone on it is awesome and the overdrive isn't that bad
Its all down to a matter of opinion and the best opinion is ur own

Use whatever sounds good - most of your fans will never ask you if your amp is digital. They just wanna hear you rock.

Get an analog. a.k.a. tube. They are expensive though. Whats your budget?

I personally use a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 112 40 watt. I love tubes - and I get the sound I want out of my amp. But, I have heard digital amps that "bark" out some mean tones too.

From the experience I have about buying equipment:
If you listen to what everybody says, you will get nowhere. So many people have opinions about different equipment, and it may be good or bad advice, but still just take it into consideration, do not completely rely on someone else's opinion because they are not you. If you like digital amps, keep the digital.

Digital amps are quite worth the price. The V-Ampire has great tone. The Marshall MG amps are analogue, but that doesn't make them good. If you want analogue, go tube. I'm sticking with digital at the moment.

Agreed.
You should only use what other people say as a basis for judging equipment. Reviews and opinions can be very helpful in pointing out important faults or features, however.
Ultimately decide for youself and don't trust everything you read about something.

Non-tube solid state amps are analog too. Digital refers to modelling amps such as the entire Line 6 range of amps and some Behringer amps.
