I was wanting to see Some Kind Of Monster but would it help to listen to St Anger first?

I haven't seen Some Kind of Monster, but I have got St. Anger.

Yes, it's a bad metallica but some of the songs aren't too bad.

just listen to frantic. its the best song on there (relatively speaking) and maybe some kind of monster (the song) as well. the rest of the album is pretty much the same :lol:

The movie is probably as horrible as the album and the actual band itself.

deffinetely watch the movie first. it makes you appreciate the album more. and i like st. anger. there are some kick *** riffs in it. all within my hands and the unnamed feeling are ace tracks as well.

i bought it and is awsome. Its really cool cuz you get to see a recording process and all of metallica's nice gear. And its really cool cuz lars ulricha and james hetfeild are so stupid. Its really funny hearing them cuss eachother out. Especiaclly lars :lol:. And then kirk is all cool and a tree hugger. Its an awsome movie.

i watched this movie and all it did was make me see how much the drummer and lead singer of metallica are complete mongs

Catch it on VH1 sometime. It's probably on now. If not, Showgirls is probably on. You don't really have to listen to the album first. If you were gonna go out of your way to buy the CD and/or DVD, don't.

I think it's an okay movie. It drags on a bit and I think they were assholes for editing the Dave Mustaine meeting so he looked bad.
