Disclaimer for those who don't know: Amoeba is a huge cd store with over 100,000 used cd's and most of them are rare.

Now then, since I will be going to this store that I don't go often, I will have to make plans for certain cds to look for. I have a list but it needs more and I have a good budget (bout $200).

Wipers - Youth of America
Guided by Voices - Bee Thousand
Air - 10,000 hz legend/Talkie Walkie
Nomeansno - Wrong
Nation of U - Plays Pretty for Baby/13 point plan to destroy america (which I have and like, thanks Em)
Drive Like Jehu - DLJ/Yank Crime
Elbow - Leaders of the Free World

The list is pretty small at the moment so, feel free to list more cd's that are hard to find (or just not as accessible) and damn good.

well, sounds pretty cool..

i think GY!BE's cds can be hard to find, especially if you're not living in canada

alot of stuff off hydra head records is pretty hard to find

90s black metal was pretty hard to find for me up until recently

Awesome; I sincerely hope you use 'amoeba' as a verb for this trip.

I'm going to a few used CD stores tomorrow; I hope to pick up some nice stuff for cheap.

Edit: You should seek out The Marvelous 3's Math & Other Problems, if you like poppy new wave type stuff.

Get Nation of Ulysses - Plays Pretty for Baby. Even if you don't like the music (and you should) you'll definitely fancy the album art. That reminds me, I'm going on a trip to the cd stores today.

It seems that every time I go to Amoeba I never walk out with what I planned on getting.

Try to find a CD copy of Wrong by NoMeansNo.

I'm going to the stores today, too. But not Amoeba. So I'm jealous.

Wrong seems like a good suggestion because I haven't been able to find a copy around here yet myself. And because all the songs I've heard make it sound worth buying.
