Umm I have a question, its very broad and im sure some people will and some won't but the majority of songs say when there is a little part in the song where there is just bass [lets say it has alot of tone] like dance dance, when it goes to the chorums is the bass lowering the heighs or does it just sound that way because the guitar comes in?

Sometimes they could just activate a pedal, or some EQ...
Depends.

Roll off some tone directly on the bass maybe?

depends, but you have to remember, that music has been through so much editing, surpressing, effects, and just elterations in general after they recorded, so thats what that is. I know my amp has an activations for the 10 band eq and i could play regular then push the eq on, or you could look for the boss eq pedal, a chrous, distorion. you know those.

so the tone does change?
In the song you mention? Haven't heard it.
When guitars come in? Doubt it.

I have a 3 band preamp in my ibanez, so I just set a pretty standard eq on my amp and tweak the preamp as I need it.

Well.. he could have and EQ pedal, on my amp it has 9 band EQ switch, and i think in somesone when im soloing I'll hit it, so i can cut thru easier...
but yeah an EQ pedal is prob what he uses
