Call of Duty:Big Red One

So, I'm sure that Call of Duty 2 for the XBOX 360 is doing much better than this game right now, but, for those who have yet to pick up a 360, has anybody picked this game up yet? I just got it for XBOX for Christmas...and it is incredible. Now, I have never really been much of a Call of Duty fan, but this game has me hooked. Anybody have/played it?

Beaten it and almost halfway through Call of Duty 2. Both great games, but ther's no denying that CoD 2 is better.

I just completed COD "Classic" for the second time and am going for a third. I see now what is so special about this game. First time around it didn't hit me. Now it's hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm even considering multiplayer for the first time because I'm pretty good now. I've never played anything online before. But this game is motivating me to do so. How is the expansion for it on PC? United Offensive was okay. And I stress okay. The major add on was the vehicles. Apart from that it was basically the same.

I loved the first game. I got it out of boredom, finished it with a sense of accomplishment.

I've not played this but I have completed CoD 2. Both this game and the original had a great sense of scope making you feel just a cog in the war machine but Brothers in Arms really is my favourite WWII game of the moment. You actually care for you men in this game whereas in CoD it feels a little impersonal.

i completed SP in the pc version. it's by far one of the best SP i've ever played, behind hidden and dangerous 2 and brothers in arms. the whole thing is just huge and intense, like where you're crawling through the pipes in stalingrad and occasionally look out to see bombers flying over and whole armies charging around. and most of the time, you're just one of those soldiers, stuck in the middle of the war, instead of feeling like an indestructable one man army.

Rent, buy CoD 2 for PC. Big Red One is a good game, however not worth buying unless you have Xbox live.

Yeah, I've never played COD but I have played MOH which is very much alike. Them utliplayer is what brings you back to the game for more. It's really intense.

Yeah, I have Finest Hour and Big Red One for Xbox, I think they are both incredible games, I beat Finest Hour in about a week, I believe I am on "The Great Crusade" at the moment

I finished the game in two days, nothing spectacular but it was good enough to hold its own in an over-populated genre with many sub par titles. My grandfather was a rat of Tobruk, so it was good to help him kick Rommels *** in the Northern Africa Campaign.

Im mad becase I lag like no other in multiplayer, but every other game I play, I have no lag in their multiplayer.
