This bass is pretty cheap, i'm just wondering how it compares to other basses at that price (£199 I think). I had a quick spin a year ago and it seemed pretty nice, can anyone else offer their opinions/experiences with it? It seems like a good base (yes I mean base not BASS) for mods.

200 pounds??? I got mine for $220. I like it for the price. I don't regret getting it as a beginner bass.

It's my workhorse! Never failed me, ever. The only time something broke was a strap button, which was easily fixed anyway. I'd say it's the best bass in the price range. That's why I bought it! :thumb:

Isn't a GSR 200 like around that same price? I would go with that instead of the OLP. I tried an OLP at GC, it wasn't bad. You can get a good tone with a good rig. It's still good for beginners, if you've been playing for some time now, get something better.

for the price, why not. you'll probably want something more decent within a few months.
Interesting. I think I might as well save my money for something else, no point buying a low level bass just to satisfy my craving for something new. I'd rather get the line filter modeller I think.
