Adding Video To Ipod??!

hey i have a ipod video.. IM trying to add videos i have all the software and no how to add them but it doesnt work it say video can not be added because ipod cant play it or somthing. The video is mpeg format anyone no what format it has to be and where i can get a program to convert them??/ thanks

They need to be Mpeg4 video files.

Go in Google and type in "iPod video file converter"

That's what I did and I got a good application to do it. I'd give you the link, but it's a mac version.
