I see how some people have the same pickups say if they have 2 sets of humbuckers they would have the same one, is tehre a point to that i was just curious

Yeah, pickups underneath different parts of the string give different sounds.

it depends the cheaper guitars will use the same pickups in bridge and neck, its just cheaper to build the guitar, and the buyer is not usually focused on how the guitar sounds, just that it has humbuckers, good guitars will usually have different pickups in the bridge and neck, they are optimized for those positions.

With single coil pickups its thought that having matched pickups, they cancel the noise in the 2 and 4 position and if the pickups are mismatched there can be a difference, however the really good pickups have the pickups optimized for the postions and sell them for the specific locations. I had a fender that was sold with matched pickups and replaced them with optimzed pickups, I a much happier with the optimized pickups.
