Well since the websites are shut down I can't get any of these and since I never have played drums Its hard for me to hear them since im used to bass. Its my sister's drum set but I can't show her much besides seven nation army, dance dance intro sugar were going down intro and an intro from new found glory.

Anyway anyone know where I can find a tab for a song from new found glory, hawthorn heights the used or fall out boy? Its really hard to start off but I think once I learn a couple songs it will help me get it on my own.

Its getting really hard to find tabs because of all this copyright BS. You are just going to have to try to figure it out by ear. It could take a while but its a skill thats worth learning.

^most definatly. develop ur ear learning, start with easy stuff like green day, or, if u want to start with good music learn AC/DC, amazing music, easy drumming, but, to anwser ur question, i think 911tabs.com still works. but why do u want to learn songs by HH or Fall out boy, or the used. are u an emo fag?

I'm not Emo, but I love those bands. You just seem like an ignorant little prick.

Well people might have to start doing it the old fashioned way...

Using yuor ears, learning by listening.. I know, everyone got real lazy with drum tabs.

Seriouslly though, 99.9% of drum parts are very easy to figure out. If it's really giving you problems then heres what you do.

First off listen for just one part, say the hi-hat part.. so you listen, replay, listen, until you figure it out.. write it down.

Then go with the snare part, repeat.. etc

Using that method you can figure out the most complicated of things, simply narrow your listening focus to each part.

BTW.. people say I'm a jerk for hamering on the idots... look at these guys, their just laying into someone for the kind of music he listens too. Sheesh.

it doesn't matter if its emo or not. If it sucks it sucks, doesn't matter what label it is. So if they think emo sucks, but it really isn't emo, then it still sucks.

Anyway, listening is how you get good. All my jazz band and drum instructors have figured out the parts to countless jazz tunes and solos all by listening. It really ain't that hard.

Or you could buy the sheet music....printed out in a nice book, hard to lose, in good notation. Not that expensive....probably will get cheaper because less people use tabs thus more demand for music.

im glad iv printed nearly 3 binders full of tabs. im not gonna get into the bs that is happening... all im saying is, i hope they dont go after cover bands next (which is actually the next logical step). that is ridiculous

Also, if you can't figure out the fills or cymbals in a song just improvise. Its good to add your own style to the piece you are playing instead of trying to play it EXACTLY like the original. You never know, people might like your fill better than the original.

Aslong as you pay the royalty fees and stuff, they can't touch you.

http://www.cdbaby.net/dd?f=8 -That's for US, but the rest of the world can't be that different.

Although I'd be wary of taking legal information from some idiot on a forum with a link. But they're closing down tab sites, cus they give away for free what someones trying to sell, but if you do a cover and pay the royalties, then they're getting revenue from it, so they prolly don't care.
