I just want to know if this is THAT much better than my 5200. I want a better graphics card, and this one seems to be the right choice. I just want to be able to play Battlefield 2 on high graphics level, and also be able to play FEAR and Call of Duty with a high graphics setting. Soooo, is it THAT much better, and worth the buy? Thanks in advance for any help :thumb:

Yes it kills your 5200. You might have the settings on high for the most part, but with no AA or AF. Fear is pretty system heavy.

Anthroscopic Filtering. Basically they make the game look better, but can kill your proformance.

Get a 6600GT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=Go&DEPA=0&type=&description=6600gt&Category=0&minPrice=&maxPrice=&Go.x=0&Go.y=0) if you can. Their is a difference between the GT and non GT. Exactly what that is, I dunno? But the GT's are better performers, nonetheless.

how is it that the GT is less expensive than the non-GT, but still better?

6600gt use GDDR RAM, 6600 uses DDR. 6600gt is also clocked faster.

Thanks for explaining that.

I don't find that to be the case at newegg.
