for xmas i got 15" a custom fast crash which i love, and with money i got im ordering some new tom batter heads snare batter and resonant head and a 16 wuhan china ( love wuhan chinas )

but i have some extra money, should i finish getting tom resonant ( only a 10" and 14") heads and get bass batter and resonant heads and a 10" hhx evolution splash.

or should i get tom resonants and and 16" aax stage crash

my bass has a good sound that i can put up with until i get new heads for it.

I'd go with the tom resos and the stage crash. You can always buy heads some other time. Christmas money should be used to buy things that make you remember this christmas like cymbals. Heads are disposable so they won't last as long as cymbals. And when you look back you will feel better because you got a good cymbal instead of some disposable goods.


Well thats just what I think anyway. Its all up to what you want to do.

woot! the a custom 15" fast crash is the very first crash I bought. after trying every single crash in the shop, that was THE ONE. :) love the bright, explosivr tone, and the medium sustain. mmmmmmm....

I like splashes, so I'd use the extra money for the splash. :)
