The axis pedals have a feel of their own, they are very light feeling pedals. IC have a heavier action, their built like tanks.

Why do you want new pedals?
The difference between Axis and IC's is so huge that I'm going to make a statement.
You do not know what you want.
It's not an insult, it's just what is.. you have to know what you want. You don't just willy nilly around "oh hey guys what should I get?!"
Make your purchases... your purchases.

personally i love my DW 7000, its about the same price as any other IC or some axis...work great also...but you gotta go with what you want and how you like the feel of your pedal...

The 7000's are really nice! Especially the newer models.

Axis for blazing double bass, Iron Cobra for everything else.

You should probably go to GC or some place similar so you can try out these pedals for yourself. This forum should not be a substitution for actually trying out the gear you are going to purchase. The feel of both of these pedals are so different that its easy to tell that you are going into this situation pretty blindly and are trying to get around going to the store.

Well the axis is like double the price of the IC sooooo do you what you want with that. I would go and try out every single pedal in the store and pick your fav.

I pretty much second what Josiah said. Buying bass pedals is like buying a pair of shoes. Get what is most comfortable for you.

7000's are the cheaper models below the 5000 arent they?

Yeah.
Ya know, I don't think the threadstarter is even gonna change his pedals. He probably just think it would be nice to own some new ones...
