Well I got alot of stuff for chistmas this year (almost all music stuff!). Drum stuff I got pearl eliminators double pedal chain-drive, carbosticks which are awesome, a buddy rich cd (I think I can consider that drum stuff), and 4.3 octave adams marimba! Non-drum related I got a vox ad50vt guitar amp, gt-6 effects processor, ipod nano, a hat, a jacket, two books, two dvds, and $15. I'd say my family really loves me. All of this stuff is just so awesome I'm never going to be bored again!

o man, i bought those carbo-sticks, one broke within five days, the other, within a month, i wasnt too happy seeing as the guy said theyd last months, but i do have a problem with hitting hard, and they break when they "feel" the that theyre going to break a cymbal

I'll try to take pics of everything tonight and post them up here tomomorrow.

Yes I know I'm spoiled, but this is all I spend my time doing and I want to play percussion in either a symphony or play drumset in a band when I get older and graduate from college (hopefully with a music major) and I'm taking hopefully all the right steps to do that now and my parents are just helping me along.

DW7000 pedals eh, catcherman16? Nice grab dude. I got those over the summer, took a toll on the wallet but definetly worth it. Make SURE you have your set on some good carpet so the extender piece won't come apart. But a little off topic. How come he gets the marimba... AND the flippin' iPod!!

I don't know if this is my parents reasoning for it or not, but I don't get ANYTHING other than clothes and food during the rest of the year. I know most of you probably have a job or something and you can get more of your gear and what not through out the year.

That, and my dad makes a substantial amount of money because he owns an embeded software marketing company. NOt trying to brag, just saying that he has enough money to spend on things like, he just only likes to do it this time of the year. And my grandma gave everyone but me ALOT of money but just gave me gear, and I'm more than happy with it.

I got and Ipod nano, shoes(still didn't see what brand but I love them comfortable and they look stunning) a pair of jeans, 2 pairs of sweat pants, a shirt, 2 pairs of name brand boxers(from my ex, she would always pop in and I'd be in boxers) and $900 but really 700 my brother owed me $200 and he finnally gave it to me. I think I did well, not sure what I'm going to do with the money.

man kids these days are spoiled...Eventhough im 17..im still kinda a kid..I look at the people younger and my age...dam they are spoiled...CHristmas has turned into a Materialistic Boastfest to see who can spend more....Seriously..has everyone forgot the point of it?

With regards to bandlehards dad being a software bla bla bla bigshot...Hell dad was semi retired by the time he was 40 and we live of interest and own several properties. My dad has the money to buy me abut 100 portnoys setups if he wanted to but i wouldnt appreciate it. All i get throughout the year is food..occasional gadget or shoes but i nearly always buy me own clothes...hairgel...bags..etc etc etc.

Its not hard just get a job asnd you will feel much better about **** that you have bought and will take better car of it

Kids should work for what they want...End

Haha you guys call that spoiled. My parents would get my an N64 or Playstation for XMAS and my family called me spoiled. Then you got kids like this that get the world. Can't blame him though, only his parents.
