I've heard that it's a great band, and that I should check them out.
I'm thinking about picking up one of their albums, but wich one should i get?
Also, feel free to tell me a bit more about this band.

For starters, they're one of the best bands that has ever existed, and easily in the top three American bands of all time. Virtually everything in rock following them was influenced by them in some way.
To start, you should really pick up something like Fear of Music or More Songs About Buildings and Food . Their best is Remain in Light, but it's a difficult album for many people, while the two I listed are both classics and more accessible. A greatest hits compilation might not be a bad idea either, they had fantastic singles.

I agree with this pretty much 100%.
And yes, Talking Heads are filled with awesomeness for all to behold.

It doesn't matter where you start, as long as it's one of their first 5 albums. They're fantastic.

They're a scrumptulescant band and I highly recommend them to you kind sir.
My dad really likes the 'Heads, which confused me.
I was in my attic the other day, and I came across a stack of vynil, so being the inquisitive boy I am, I pulled 'em out.
In the stack I found 5 Talking Heads vynils (Remain In Light, Talking Heads '77, Stop Making Sense, Fear of Music, More Songs About Buildings and Food).
It kinda shocked me, I thought he didn't particularlly like "Alternative" music.
Eh, Start with More Songs About Buildings & Food, maybe go to Talking Heads '77, and then possibly Remain In Light.
You need to get all the 5 I mentioned though.

I'd start with More Songs About Buildings and Food, I think. Thank You For Sending Me An Angel is surely one of the best songs for starting off on a band there can be.
