buzzing string

When i re-strung my prs E string (top) it started to have this buzzign sound. before i re-strang it , it didn't have this problem. It seems like the buzzing is coming from the guitar hittng the first fret. how could i fix this? thanks

it might be slightly touching one of the pickups, and in that case you will have to lower the pickup it is touching.

..which, (at least for my guitar) was accomplished by slightly loosening the screws on either side of the pickup

I dont kno anything about PRS

but what type of bridge is it?


if its buzzing at 1st fret try taking it to a guitar shop

u might need a truss rod adjustment


Have u put on the same guage strings as before ?
Have u altered the action?
If its a floyd rose type trem maybe its tilted so the strings will hit the frets more?
