tell me why i dislike Mogwai so much.

i love EitS and Sigur Ros. i firgured Mogwai would be equally amazing.
i'd downloaded 4 songs.
for some reason, i saw nothing of interest.
the songs were just like 5 minute tracks of "woooooooooo...... oooooooo..... doooooooooo...... ....... ...... ruuuuuuuuuuuuu" with no climax, no build-up, no emotion. just songs that consisted of a couple minutes of guys doing nothing of interest.

am i missing something? i hear these guys raved about.

Radar Maker, one that was like the name of a car or something, and 3 others. it was a month ago.

Sound buy recently sent me one he thought was good called 2 Rights Make 1 Wrong and it was good and i liked it way more than the others, but all in all it sounded like EitS if they started slacking on songwriting.

Radar Maker is ok, but not exactly a great starting song. I'd suggest trying these (especially if you like EITS):

While songs like Hunted By A Freak and Like Herod are awesome, I'm guessing the reason that he likes EITS and Sigur Ros is the beauty and epicness (is that a word?) of those bands. Like Herod especially is a pretty ugly song.

It's not particularly ugly, but it's not beautiful in the way that EiTS and Sigur Ros.

I can see why you think their boring, i think they are musical geniuses personally, like in the song "i know what you are but who am i?" its just a simple piano instrumental, nothing special but sounds so good. I love them.

I likes the Mogwai I heard, but not enough to buy an album. Liked explosions in the sky pretty much the same. GY!BE bored me. Sigur Ros I love.
