Wait- you want us to tab out a song, post it on the internet, and you have no written permission to do this? You do realize that your kind killed Jesus, right? (At least the RIAA would want you to think so...)

But seriously, if you change the "http" to "hxxp", the link won't be closed by yousendit. (Though there is still a one week/25 downloads limit)

EDIT: From what I gathered, it was something like:

e---------------------------------------------
b---------------------------------------------
g-9-9~~~9\5-5~~~5/12-12~~~12\7~~4/7-
d---------------------------------------------
a---------------------------------------------
e---------------------------------------------

And you repeat it, or it sounds like it's going to. The "~"s mean ring out, and the "/" or "\" mean slide in a particular direction.

Naw, I was kind of joking around. But there's been alot of talk about it lately as the RIAA is intending to shut down unauthorized tab and lyrics sites.

Here's a link to a thread that might provide more information for you.

EDIT: Oh, and no problem. That's what this site is here for.

How long have you been playing for, you seemed pretty fast with the reply of tabbing...im tone deaf like crazy....just cant do it.....but do you have any recordings like a sound click account or something?

[edit: that whole tabs debate is a big load of crap...what next...will they limit the times we can actually listen to music?....just as unrealistic as their crappy ban on tabs, i mean....first it was a big deal that we couldnt download music...now we cant even see the music to play it ourself? thats a big load of (explative deleted) if i say so myself. also if there is anybody out there like me...i am pretty much screwed because as i just stated i am tone deaf so i cant play by ear, and when i want to learn ONE song i cant go blow $14.99 USD every day becasue something new came out that i liked...also like someone posted... what about bands without tab books....well any ways...this isnt the place to be discussing that....)

There are alot of people who are far, far better than myself on this site. Just walking into Guitar Center is a pretty humbling experience. I've been playing for about 2 and a half years, and over that time of playing and consistent practice and understanding basic scales and theory, your ear becomes trained enough to recognize certain things alot better than when someone is just starting out.

My band has a couple sites: http://www.myspace.com/thetinsmen and http://www.purevolume.com/tinsmen - I play all the guitar parts except for the first lead part on "Drifting", the leads in the first half of "The Soft Machine", and one of the octave parts in "I'm Down".

I totally hear you about the tabs and such. To me it seems like it could really hurt alot of young players from developing, something that shouldn't be the result of some money-hungry RIAA members' "need" for more money. "Robbing the artist...", what a joke. If they're famous enough to even have tab books to market, then why do they need more money? If people want exact tabs or sheet music, then it makes sense for them to purchase it, but for educational purposes, come on.

Whatever.
