My favourite songs:
Dreams for a Crook
We're Coming Back
Plodding Along
If It Sells It Sells
Tokyo Crush
I can't wait for the new album.

I saw them early this year, great show and great band.
I lost my Revenge of CD though, anyone want to send it to me?
And no I'm not being cheap, I really did lose it in a friend's car.

The Dead Pets come from my city (Leeds), so they're just a small local band to me. I've seen them loads of times, and Sweeney Todd is like a local celebrity.
It's weird to see people from all over (Australia included) talking about them!
They're awesome though.

There's a slim chance i'll go to that. I'm going to a football match that day, then going out with some work mates, but if that doesn't happen or something i'll probably go.

Our bass player went on holiday to england and the only thing he could talk about when he came back other than warm beer was this band,
I haven't heard them yet but considering the extent of Jaeson's rantings there must be something there.
Yeah Dead Pets are pretty cool, I've seen them 2 times - once was a very long time ago, and once was about 3 weeks ago. I thought they were cool both times. I think I'm also seeing them this week sometime, as my friend is putting them on.

If you're in an Oi! kind of mood. You need them more than life itself.

I am listening to Revenge of the Villiage Idiots, it's realllllly good. I'm glad that I checked these guys out.
EDIT: The vocals kinda remind me of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones vocals.

Hey sketchyjoe, I was at that show as well. The Jerry Lee Lewis cover was awesome. I enjoyed them most this time out of the times I've seen them. What'd you think of the overall bill? My mate Alex was putting on the show with this other guy, I thought Jesse James was a weird choice.

Yeah, I thought I saw you just as I was leaving. I left after the Dead Pets as I'm not really a big Jesse James fan. I was the guy in the black t-shirt with a bright blue Toy Dolls logo who ended up singing along with Sweeney for part of We're Coming Back.
Out of the other bands I saw: Catch-It Kebabs = Good, The Junglists = Average, $up = Bollocks.
Aha, yes I was trying to memorise most of the dudes onstage at the end because I thought someone from Mx might say they had been there. Kebabs were ace last night, the last show they played was my birthday at the Underworld, I haven't half missed them. Yeah I didn't see the Junglists fitting in, especially as most of their new stuff was more like indie/garage rock. I quite enjoyed $up though, I am quite familiar with their choons now cus of the Streetlight tour.

Yes.
Well, not full but a large proportion of them are racist...which sucks...cause a friend of mine was raised there, and he doesn't even realise he's being racist.
I saw the dead pets on Faking it too, can't believe they made him shave his mohaekan. From what i've heard, they're a great band, but i've only heard a couple of songs.
