So, I've been looking into new pickups for my guitar, and ive decided on some Dimarzio's, the X2N in the bridge and Air Norton in the neck. On the Dimarzio website it says the X2N is designed to overdrive tube amps. Would it still sound fine with a solid state amp, or would it sound like crap. Another thing, in my guitar i have 2 humbucker slots and 1 single coil pickup slot. Any suggestions on what to get for a single coil pickup?

yo, I'm not even going to answer your first question because I'm not fond of Dimarzios, but for the single coil i'd look into lace sensors; especially the Fender ones
