Oh man, Andrew bird is AWESOME. His live shows are super duper too. Grab Andrew Bird & the Mysterious Production Of The Eggs if you ever get the chance, one of the best records of the year.

He's great. His shows are great, as he records himself on stage. He records layers, than plays them all at the same time and sings over it (if that makes sense). I agree that Mysterious Production of Eggs is his best, but Weather Systems is a good album as wel.

I love Mysterious Production of Eggs though there are some songs on their which don't do it for me. Sovay is beautiful. I've been listening to him alot lately.

I thought this was the most boring album released this year, or near it. His lyrics are interesting but not grabbing, his voice is a drone, and the music is extremely similar.

I'm sure you could honestly say the same thing about a lot of my favorites. I just like throwing in my 2 cents no matter where I go.

"Fake Palindromes" is an amazingly awesome song and Andrew Bird is so much more interesting than Devandra or even Sufjan.
