So, I've been needing 2 new stare stands for the longest time. One for my snare, and one for my 12'' tom.

And then I saw this: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=clearance/search/detail/base_pid/449731/
20 dollars each.
Would it be able to hold a 12'' tom somewhat high while remaining stable?

Do I get 2?
Do I get one?
Do I get none?

i'd say go for it man, sonor hardware is pretty good and reliable and plus its only $20 so if all else fails its not gonna be that big of a loss

go for it you know you wanna :p

Im thinking of going for it, but considering I have no job, and am tight on cash, 40 dollars would be somewhat of a loss :(

I say go, you will regret it afterwards if you don't :(

I would get a sturdier stand to hold a tom. The 400 series hardware is good. That is what I am using right now.

I'll regret it even more if it isn't good enough to hold the tom and ends up giving out and ruining two vintage slingerland drums that would be incredibly hard to replace :[

well double braced is sturdier #1

#2 SONORs hardware levels (cheapest to most expensive) goes:

100, 200, 400, 600

I think it looks sturdy though... I'm not saying single braced harware isn't...
