I have a song I am trying to do a drum part for in FL Studio 5. It has been a pain in the *** for me to write the parts in thirty second and sixty fourth notes. I have been clicking a sixteenth note in the piano role and cutting it with the cut command down to what I want it to be. Is there a faster way of doing this?
Also This particular song calls for triplets. How do I program in triplets? If anyone has any answers for this they would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know about fruity loops, but just tripple the bpm, then put the 3 beats together. And seperate the rest of the beats by 3 beats.

That's about the only way you'll be able to do it.
Besides double/quadrupling/tripling/whatevering the bpm, there's no way in FL to do anything faster than 16ths, and no odd groupings.

This is not true.
Highlight your note groups in the piano roll, and click the edge and drag the notes down to size as literally any note length you can think of.

But that also depends on up in the top toolbars there is a pull down list that says "snap" to the lower right hand side and if you have (none) chosen then it works, but if it's in Line then it just goes by the lines but you can also double click on the note(s) in the piano roll to bring up a dialog box in wich you can set the duration needed...
