This is just a simple little game where you name two bands and someone else tries to figure out what traits they share. It can be anything really, especially if you're stumped. However, I think it's even more fun if you don't have an answer in mind when naming the two bands. That way we don't have to wait for the original poster to respond to the thread with a "yeah you're right" or "no I was thinking of something else." Just figure something out yourself!
For example, if someone said Iron Maiden and The Mars Volta, I would say that they both have songs which begin with drumrolls from the previous track (Powerslave and Drunkship of Lanterns, respectively). But I would never say those bands because I'm the only one foolish enough to like both of them :(
So here are the two bands to start off with. I have no idea what they have in common so you'll have to figure it out!
Ted Leo and the Pharmacists
Billy Joel
Have fun!
