I hope they have some slow acoustic or piano songs such as "New American Classic". That song is a classic...

Everyone seems to hate Where You Want to Be. I personally liked it. It wasn't as good as Tell All Your Friends, but it was a pretty good CD. I'm pretty excited for this CD. I suspect it will be out around February/March.

I liked it, it was good, but your right TAYF was better.

WYWTB was great. TAYF was a bit better I guess.

It's hard to sing to that due to the fact that vocals come at you from all different directions. You have to pick a part and stick with it, but then you usually end up singing the other guy's part. I love that... that's what makes TBS awesome.

Haha yeah I know..I just stuck with the main stuff, and then parts where the kinda other stuff was the only thing happening I went with that. I'm a terrible singer, but I couldn't care less..I was home alone, with little to do. :p

WWYTB > TAYF in my opinion, I just thought it sounded a lot more mature.

TAYF > WYWTB
John Nolan in TBS > new TBS

the lyrics in TAYF are far superior to WYWTB, when i think of the songs each one has that catchy hook, where-as WYWTB dosn't have as many of them moments. the CD grew old far to fast for me.

Ya I definetly agree with that.

John Nolan fit very well into the band. But, if he didn't quit there would be no such thing as Straylight Run. I guess you gotta lose some to win some.

Tell All Your Friends did keep my attention much longer. The songs started to blend in Where You Want to Be, although it is a good album.

WYWTB was still great, even though i didnt like about 5 songs on it. TAYF is still one of my favorite CD's.

I listened to Tell All Your Friends last night with my mom. She didn't comment on it, but I bet she liked it.
"So sick, so sick of being tired and oh so tired of being sick."... how could you not love an album that starts out with lyrics like that after a fade-in guitar?

I hope it's as good if not better than TAYF because if not i won't listen to it.

Yeah, TBS did a good job covering it.

Ps. The Descendents version of the song has been around for like 20 more years. So I hope that was a typo.

I think Brad made a typo, turned it into a joke, and you pop-punkers haven't picked up on it.

Anyway, I used to be big into TBS and will probably listen to this one for the hell of it.

Sums up my thoughts perfectly. Like Dan, I had actually forgotten how much I love this band, until yesterday when my girlfriend bought be the new release of TAYF (the one with the DVD and bonus tracks) as a Christmas present (along with a Fall Out Boy t-shirt). I haven't been able to stop listening to it. Blue Channel and Bike Scene are amazing songs.

The CD is enhanced, so I just figured the DVD would be the same as what you can play on your computer...
