I have owned this snare for around 2-3 months now and I can say i'm very happy with it.

To start off with, the snare looks great, the hammered steel gives an interesting effect especially under stage lights! reflects everywhere..
The throw off is great and very easy to use, I really like its position.

The actual sound of the drum is fairly bright, with a decent crack and clear ghost notes. The rimshots are really REALLY loud and bright. Not advised unless wearing some form of ear protection. The whole drum has been built to highest degree of quality, everything looks as if it will last for years to come (with the right caring for obviously).

The snare also projects really well, I had the pleasure of letting someone else play it while I was sitting in the audience, and it sounded better than behind the kit. The projection was incredible. Such a loud crack. The only downside is that it is a little heavy, but thats just being really picky if anything.

For the price I payed (£245) i'm very happy with my purchase. So far this snare has been a pleasure to play with, and I hope it continues to be.
