Chromatics are the 12 notes in an octave: A A# B C C# D D# E F F# G G#

The 12th fret and above are basically just the same thing as the first 11 frets an octave higher.

Open string is the same note as the 12th an octave higher
The 1st fret is the same note as the 13th an octave higher
The 2nd fret is the same note as the 14th an octave higher
etc

i get what youre saying but the scale you just posted has 24 notes in it if you play the first four frets on every string

The Chromatic Scale is all halfsteps -
This is the easiest way to manage the scale that I have found:

C,C#,D,D#,E,F,F#,G,G#,A,A#,B,C

• = root
• = b2nd,2nd,b3rd,3rd,4th,#4th,5th,#5th,6th,b7th,7th

That's why they have 2 octave necks, or, 24 fret necks.

another thing. i was practicing playing the p.h. 1-2-3-4 on al six strings, and i realized how much the sweet spots make a difference. i was wondering if you can learn to force a p.h. out of any spot so your hand can stay in one place, or if you would have to constantly keep moving your hand up and down for every p.h.
