A friend of mine asked me to record it, and suprisingly it turned out pretty good. Almost as good as the original maybe? The vocals still have problems with popping a bit, and some annoying swoosh sounds from breathing.

Simple n good. But arghh I hated the breathing sounds lol...get rid of them ASAP!!

it sounds good to me, although the ending didn't end on the right chord, but if that's what you were aiming for, then great!

Vocals definately need to be cleaned up, if possible (the noise, that is). Other than that, I really liked it. I'd have to agree that you've got a great singing voice, and it did remind me of Elliot Smith, as well. Nice choice for a cover, too.
