I play. Not competetively, but jsut with ym friends. It's a fun way to pass time.

I'd suggest a pirahna or spyder gun fr that price. Try to avoid buying Brass Eagles and such from stores as they tend to fall apart quite easy.

i played once and it was a hilarious game. i would love to go again. but not something i would do on a regular basis. did anyone watch that peculiar paintball thing on tv in the uk? called cross fire or something. was uber cheesy and involved people running around nailing each other with paintball guns. what a giggle...

Stay away from pirahnas and spyders. Look for a Smart Parts Ion, possibly used for a cheaper price.

I've went paintballing twice. Both times we're with my friend and his step dad and a bunch of people that we didn't really know. It is lots of fun to play and I'm planning on buying a gun with my birthday money. Then once spring comes again, I will probably go once a week or every other week.

I'm thinking on getting a pirahna.

My spyder has held up quite well. I've had it for three years, though I've not played in nearly 13 months.

Paintballing is amazing. It's so intense, especially when you play with frozen paintballs. My buddies and I wanted to make it more realistic. In real battle you would be very careful about making risky moves, but with paintballs you are more prone to do crazy things. With frozen paintballs, you DO NOT want to get hit, so it's more like there are real bullets flying around.

frozen paintballs = bleeding almost every time. I've been hit in the adam's apple and nearly had to go to the hospital.

Id say go with that tippman.High quality guns.

BTW: playing with frozen paintballs is retarded. Why don't you just play with marbles?

don't waste your money on an A5, a Smartparts Ion is a good little marker for the money.

I went paintball for the first time today. Great time. Definately not as painful as everyone says..the worst that happened to me was I got his in the hand twice, in the same exact spot...sting for a while, but still not bad.

My friend's brother got his in the nuts before I got there and he had to go home, and another guy slid into some concrete and you could see the cartilage in his knee.

Anyway, my friend has a Tippman A5 and it seemed pretty good, never got to use it so I wouldnt know. Him, his dad, and his brother all have one so I guess they think they're decent.

I've played two or three times.

I managed to get shot in the neck from <10 feet. sliiiiightly vicious (although not hospital worthy)

there were rumors going around the school for a month that i had a massive hickey. which is funny because it was a gnarly bloody thing. would have been quite the intense bloody hickey  sometimes people don't think.

kind of like when i went to a local woods to play with ~15 guys. only girl + loaned pump gun my first time against all expensive automatics.
i was done before i started.
