Now ive heard great things about this band, and i love how unique they are. As Ikey Owens (keyboardist from the mars volta) said "this is how black rock music should sound". I like the fact that they have created their own style which has been used by other artists. Anyone suggest their best album/ep. I dont have any of their releases but was wondering if someone could explain to me like the music on each of their releases.

Bjork released a song off medulla called "triumph of a heart" which reminds me of "ambulance for some reason" maybe its the vocal rhythm or something.

They have 2 EPs, and one full length.

Get Young Liars (an EP) first, it's their best.

I think they're a great band. It's fantastic to see some black musicians, outside of rap/hip-hop, doing something thats original and that's actually good.

They're phenomenal. Get the Young Liars EP first, then their full-length, which is almost as good.

I've got a crush on them. They're probably my favourite band that's currently active. Can't wait for the new album.

Ok i think These guys are great. Very intelligent, i dont think ppl should put too much emphasis on teh fact that they are black, because its not taht important really. Though i do agree it is good to see some prominent non-rap black musicians. But yeah Tv on teh radio's 2004 album was gpood but i forgot it's name.

A bit of a bump, but I just got Young Liars, it really is brilliant, if a bit minimalist. The vocals are wonderfully crafted.
