We recorded this on our keyboardists camera...so its not the best quality.
I'm rhythm guitarist, but please bear in mind that when we recorded it, I had forgotten the power cable to my own amp so I had to use the clapped out old Fender Twin at the studio, which had no footswitch >_< so I had to use the same channel the whole way through the song. Also, we left out the bridge (purposefully) and the last chorus sounds shakey because everyone (except the drummer) started jumping around. :chug:
Comments please!

erm well - it seemed to lack a bit of energy -maybe bring the tempo up a bit, have the drummer play something a bit different properly.
Also i think if your doing a cover - it either has to be perfect, or different from the original - your singers voice doesnt really suit that track (i thought anyway).... try rewriting it to suit you band and your styles - even if it ends up sounding really different its a lot more interesting and better to listen to than a cover which trys to but doesn't quite have the same feel of the original
where abouts in berkshire are you based? you play live at all?

Me, the bassist and the singer all live in Berkshire (Wokingham to be exact), but our lead guitarist lives in Oxford and our Drummer lives in Chipping Norton (even further up than Oxford). It's about an hour and a half drive from the drummer's to mine, but we meet up half way at a studio in Didcot for practices.
We do play live but that's either at weddings or invite-only gigs... :(
We do have much higher quality songs than that (we don't ususally do that one), we mostly do classic rock and alternative covers and a few originals. We do a couple of Beatles tunes (always popular), The Darkness, Status Quo, The Killers, Van Morrison, Coldplay, The Buzzcocks and others. They all (well, except Coldplay...we do The Scientist at weddings) get the crowd dancing and it's a great rush to see the audience enjoying your music.
BTW, thanks for your comments. :thumb:

This is really bad quality so I can't tell if you're good or not. Why don't you post some of the high quality ones?

sounds alright - you should get your name around a bit more... theres a loada pubs and clubs in oxford especially who have live bands - personally i think its the best way to develop as a band playing small places like that - plus its a bit of money and if you enjoy it then its definately worth it.
Its probably not quite as much as you take from a wedding but i prefer it myself (plus you've allways got weddings and private events to get money from.... i have a jazz band i get about £80-100 a gig from, plus a few bands which make almost nothing but i love doing them)
but anyway not too sure what my point is
post some of those hi-quality tracks id love to hear them
